Mita's place is clean and quiet and the location is close to and in walking distance of public transport, shops, restaurants. Lots of green places for walking. Mita is hospitable and kind I enjoyed staying at her place very much. She would also cook meals for a small amount if you don't cook for yourself. There is also a nice garden which I enjoyed and she generously shared the produce from the garden with me.
A very kind person, a pacific and calm place. My time in her Homestay was amazing. Thank you Mita. ❤️
She is very kind and humble. Easy going.
Staying with Mita was a fantastic experience. I booked my stay a few weeks ago and had been in communication from since then. Mita and her son picked me up from the airport for an additional cost which was great. I was greeted with a bottle of water as well. She then took me to the botanical gardens and dinner which was fantastic. She made me feel part of the family. I had the basement which was great as it had a private entrance, and in my room which was very spacious, I had my own kitchen. The bathroom was shared but I never had to wait for it. I was also able to clean my clothes as I got soaked in the rain and I hung it up outside to dry which was great.
She was also very helpful with getting me tokens for the bus and subway which are very close to her house. The subway to downtown is about 40 minutes. Very safe area as well. Mita also made me some lunch on one of the days and on my last night she made me some soup.
You can pay for additional dinner every night which isn’t very costly which I took advantage of one night.
If you’re coming to Toronto and want somewhere to stay on a budget, choose Mita’s house.
Thank you for letting me stay
Mita is a very good person by heart. She made me feel like her family member. It's like a home away from my home. I never had to adjust for anything during my stay. Words can't describe her friendliness & hospitality. I really consider myself privileged staying at her house.
She is amazing, took good care of me, felt like I am staying with my family.
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
