Bright rooms on the second and third floor of our home facing south of the city. The room is fully furnish with high-speed internet, queen size bed, wardrobe, study table, chair and lamp, reliable heating during winter. Laundry facility provided. Downstairs you can use the living room where you can watch TV if you need a break from studying. There is a wonderful backyard with a deck and front yard porch for enjoying the outdoors. We are friendly, understanding and approachable. We guarantee that your stay with us will be a pleasant one. Our home is conveniently located centrally within the City of Toronto with easy access to all highways leading out of the city. The nearest major streets near Eglinton Avenue West and St. Clair Avenue West (google map postal code M6E 1V6). I work at U of T downtown St. George Campus; travelling time to work by car 10 minutes and by bus 20 minutes. My husband and I are experienced travellers with an exceptional understanding of different cultures and religions. If you are looking for an interactive group environment that is warm and caring then this is a good home for you. Our home is an English Only speaking home. We have students who have been living with us for more than two years and going. The students are either learning English or attending university. Important This home is also scent free, no perfume.

It's been a real delight to be hosted at Sam and Connie's house. Sam and Connie have been very welcoming, always available to provide great tips for making my journey to Toronto the most enjoyable experience as possible. Their house is beautiful, very clean, very well located at 1 minute by feet from the bus stop and 15 minutes by subway to Saint Andrew's station. The neigborhood is very quiet, safe and family. My bedroom was very warm and comfortable. Sam and Connie are frequent travelers themselves who make you feel at home, and they are also the best cooks on the planet ! As a woman solo traveler, it has been the perfect homestay for me and I am very greatful for these wonderful 6 days in Toronto at Sam and Connie's place.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
