We have a room in a beautiful historic rowhouse in Strathcona, Vancouver's oldest neighborhood. Strathcona is just a few blocks from the port Vancouver and minutes to downtown Vancouver. An old treed beautiful neighbourhood ambiance with great coffee shops all within walking distance. In fact you can walk down to the city core within a matter of 20 minutes or or cycle Vancouver's majestic Stanley Park on the seawall. Our Family is multicultural we speak English and Cantonese and a little bit of mandrian. Your room rental comes with a bike courtesy of Union Street Cycles located in Strathcona!

About the Area
We are located just a few short blocks to historic China town where you will find the best Chinese food the city has to offer. We are close to the port Vancouver and just a two minute walk to the bus stop which takes you directly downtown Vancouver within a matter of minutes. If you had west on the same bus line that will take you to the downtown area however heading east will take you straight up Burnaby Mountain to Simon Fraser University where many students attend classes. We have a beautifully treed neighbourhood with delightful cafés within walking distance. Strathcona is the oldest neighbourhood in Vancouver and it is an arts community onto itself. Within a 1 mile radius there are literally hundreds of artist studios which you can browse. We are also very short walk to Union Street cycle where you can rent a bicycle to take down town or to tour beautiful Stanley Park and the gorgeous beaches of Vancouver which are only minutes away on bicycle

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
