I have been hosting international students for nine years. I am from Fiji but have been living in Vancouver for over thirty years now.My room prices do INCLUDE three meals breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We mainly speak English in the house and are always willing to help students better learn English. We are very family oriented and like to spend time with each other. We like to bbq and hike in the summer, snowboard when in season and watch hockey and basketball games on TV. My house is centrally located in the city of Vancouver and only takes fifteen minutes by bus and skytrain to get downtown. The #20 bus will take you to Commercial - Broadway Station or you can take the #33 to King Edward Station. My neighborhood has a community center (Kensington) two blocks from home. There are many grocery stores and Asian restaurants, a Starbucks and McDonald's close to home.

I do recommend Kuashma's house! The house is beautiful and nice. All the facilities are nice, including a exclusive kitchen. My room was perfect. The house is about 20 min to downtown, no problems at all to get there. Kushma is very nice, easygoing and cooks very well! Perfect place to stay in Vancouver!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
