Right off the water, with private dock on the Gorge, and lots of exotic palm trees in the back yard. 10 minute-walk from all amenities like ILUKA Coffee shop, Thrifty Food, a pharmacy and a bus stop that goes downtown (15mns drive).

Our upper floor bedroom is comfortable and quiet. It's furnished with queen-size beds and the closet offers ample room in which to hang clothes. The room has a private bathroom. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room.

Both my friend Thuva and myself live in the house. I’ll be around most of the time since we both work full or part time from home. Our guest’s privacy is what we value the most and we are devoted to give them space while being available when needed.

This is a non-smoking home.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need for cooking up delicious meals. Coffee maker with coffee and filters provided as well as condiments and spices. Kitchen is single use.

Living Room: Bright and spacious with sectional couch.

Bathrooms: The bath is equipped with a shower and a jet tub. There a powder room downstairs.

Laundry Room: Full-size laundry room with detergent etc.

House Rules

● Rooms are for use as residential occupied premises only. Neither the Occupied Room nor any part of the occupied premises will be used at any time during the Term of this Sublease Agreement by the occupant for the purpose of carrying on any business, profession, or trade of any kind, or for the purpose other than as a private single-person residence.

● I will leave all spaces better than I find them. No one likes living in a mess. It is expected that you will clean up anything you use or alter before leaving that space.

● Any alterations to communal space must be confirmed by the lease holder before modifications made – hanging art, adding furniture, etc.

● Occupants will not enter each other’s bedrooms without permission, except in cases of emergency (fire, theft, water leak, repair/service appointment, etc.)

● The Kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry facilities, and yard are shared spaces and may be used by any anyone without permission. However, your host may request the exclusive use of one communal area (backyard, kitchen/dining room, or living room). In such cases, the occupants will endeavor to give privacy to their host. If the so-called area is the kitchen, and you need to access it to get your food you have to be discreet. Do not interfere in conversations or gatherings unless your host invites you to do so.

● No gatherings are allowed.

● We agree that “quiet time” will be from 8 pm until 7 am during the week as well as on weekends and holidays. This rule applies for when there is a gathering as well.

With regard to noise, it is further agreed that:

● We define ‘quite time’ as: not producing noise (playing music, listening to movies,
having conversations, etc.) that can be heard inside the other roommate’s rooms and outside the house including the downstairs unit.

● Rooms are single occupancy. In the event that it becomes multiple occupancy, the occupancy agreement will have to be terminated.

Smoking Rules

Your host is a non-smoker.

Smoking is not allowed.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
