Spectacular southern view of the mountains and the ocean from the large balcony on the 6th floor. Located downtown in one of the best areas (just beside the Parkside Hotel). Just a few minutes walk to the Parliament Buildings, Beacon Hill Park, Empress Hotel, the Inner Harbour.
Your private bedroom is quite large (2.7 x 3.7 meters) with a large window for morning sunshine. It includes a study desk, shelves, wardrobe closet, brand new twin bed with storage underneath.The kitchen and bathroom are shared (with me), the living room has an area for yoga/stretching/weights. The whole suite is newly renovated with all new furniture and appliances.
I am a retired engineer who has travelled quite a lot and lived in several other countries. I have enjoyed sharing houses with male or female students for more than 30 years. I enjoy bicycle touring, sailing, walking in nature, and volunteering in Victoria.
Note: Preference given to language students or other students. Mature students (age 25+) preferred.
Minimum 1 month stay. Longer stays preferred.

My apartment is located on the 6th floor of one of Victoria's stylish buildings, with a super view, big windows, and lots of sunshine. Just a short walk to all the best parts of Victoria: Royal BC Museum, Inner Harbour, Parliament Buildings, Downtown restaurants and shopping, Cook Street Village shopping, and so much more.

It is a shared apartment, thus 11 pm to 8 am are quiet hours.

Cash is the preferred payment method.

My stay in downtown Victoria was delightful! The gorgeous, cosy apartment with fantastic views made it truly special. But what truly stood out was my roommate, Peter. He’s kind, helpful, and clean, and our chats were always enjoyable. Peter’s excellent hospitality made my stay in Victoria so much easier. Whether sharing travel stories or offering local tips, Peter went above and beyond. Thanks to Peter’s warm and welcoming presence, I highly recommend this place.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
