This charming old house lingers on the edge of DT Victoria, BC with only memories of fragrant gardens and a white picket fence. Today, it sits on an urban landscape, a parking lot. If you're hoping for a sweet little garden to hang out in this is not your spot.
Looking for a clean bdrm on the edge of downtown, then we can fill those shoes. This is a shared suite with others. Obviously not in your room but the one bathroom is shared.
This room has a flat-screen TV with a Roku set up. A memory foam queen bed and a sofa couch.
ALSO, Please note that the WIFI is turned off in the suite from 11pm until 8 am.
Please keep your personal belongings in your room, not in the shared bathroom or others may use them. There maybe other guests or roommates staying as well. The bathroom and kitchen are shared, with access for our guests. CLEAN UP after every use. This means wiping the bathtub out, cleaning up any hair. Please be animal friendly as we have an older, very friendly orange tabby cat.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north side edge of downtown, Victoria. A 15 min walk into the city center and 20 -25 minutes to the parliament buildings. Close to everything needed.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Please remove shoes at the lower landing.
Guests may come and go as they please but quietness is asked if you are coming in late or leaving early, out of respect for others.
No smoking or burning candles or incense within the suite but you can perch on the front covered steps.
The number of stairs may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
Clean up after yourselves by leaving a room the same or better than when you arrived.
Feel free to snack in your room but please eat meals in the kitchen.

The host cancelled the booking 29 days before the arrival date.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
