Private bright room in newly built house in the vibrant neighbourhood of Fernwood near downtown Victoria, BC.
You will have a private bathroom and private access to a shared deck from your bedroom. Access to shared kitchen, laundry and living spaces. We can provide a small desk and TV for the room if requested.
We are a professional couple who have a 12 month old son. We enjoy spending time outside going on walks and hikes.
We are within walking distance to coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants and centrally located to downtown and UVic, Camosun and the Jubilee hospital:
- 15 min bus ride to downtown (2.5km from house).
- 15 min bus ride to Camosun College Landsdowne (3km from house)
- 20 min bus ride to University of Victoria (4.5km from house).
- 15 min walk to Royal Jubilee Hospital (1km from house).
- 2.5km to the beach.

Our house is located close to downtown Victoria. It is a 35min drive from the airport. It is close to several major bus routes that will take you to all parts of the city and surrounding areas. The bus stop to downtown is only 2 minutes away.

- Please keep our home secure and lock doors and windows when leaving the house.
- Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself.
- No pets are allowed.
- Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, please ask first.
- Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay.
- Please keep quiet after 10 pm.
- Please only use laundry between the hours of 7am - 7pm.
- Feel free to use the deck but please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
