We'd love to welcome you to our West Vancouver home. One of our favorite things about our home is the stunning views of English Bay and Cypress Mountain. We're no more than a 5 minute walk to several trailheads including Cypress Falls and we're a short walk to many beaches too.
Our home is about a 10 minute walk to the bus stop (downhill) and 15 minute walk back (uphill). The bus can take you downtown in about 35-45 minutes. The room available is a large living area that includes two couches and a TV living area with a wood-burning fireplace, double size bed, table and chairs, small refrigerator and lots of light, with outdoor entry and patio area. The bedroom also has a private bathroom down a hallway and plenty of storage space.
We have three kids and enjoy being outdoors, exploring this beautiful city, cooking healthy plant-based meals and eating together, good wine, having friends over and exercising. It's our mission to find new hikes and beaches on the weekends. Our dog is an old girl that lays in the sun most of the day. We think she forgot how to bark! We would love to help you get around the city, join us for meals and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

About the Area
Our house is located on the North Shore in a quiet and very safe suburban area. We are about a 10 minute walk to the bus stop and 20 minute walk to grocery store and shopping centre. We are about 45 minutes from the airport and 5 minute drive to the ferry terminal.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
The room rate includes the following services: internet access, television and Netflix access, washer/dryer access, driveway parking.
The kitchen is available for cooking two times per day and needs to be cleaned after use. We ask that you have only one guest at a time no more than 3 times per week. Common space like patio and living room can be used until 8pm. We are a family with three young children who are very respectful to our guests and their space but nonetheless, our home has a lot of good, young energy! If you like to be loud late at night and party, this may not be the best fit.
Additional available services at an extra charge (payable directly to your host on arrival):
Pick-up and drop-off service: $50.00 CAD one-way
Dinner: 10.00 CAD per person per night (3 nights per week maximum)
Rides: based on distance traveled
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
