You have access to all common areas. We have a large living room, TV/ Projector area, kitchen, and dinning room. We also have a relaxing beautiful terrace/lounge area on the second floor with a comfy hammock that overlooks our indoor patio area.
***Update: we just upgraded the bedroom with a brand new orthopedic matrimonial bed :)

Our terrace is a guest fave as it's the best area to relax, drink coffee, read, hang out, work or simply wake up and listen to the birds chirping in the morning.

About the Area
Our home is centrally located in San Pedro at the verge of Sabanilla, Vargas Araya and central San Pedro providing you quick access to all these.
The exact location is Sabanilla, a very quiet and safe middle class residential area. Close enough to all major city amenities without all the noise. 25mts from our gate is one of the bus stops that go to downtown San Jose.
Nearby you will find supermarkets, San Pedro Mall & Outlet Mall, coffee shops, hardware store, walk-in clinic, restaurants, gym, parks, bike shop, hair salons, bars, banks +
On Sunday's, there is a small farmers market in Vargas (2min walk) . Here you will find fresh produce from all over the country. This is a traditional fair and many Costa Ricans spend their weekend morning shopping and enjoying traditional food and beverages.
We usually attend the farmer's market in Zapote (15min bus ride) on Sunday's and always take our house guests with, it's a large market with loads of fresh produce as well as artisan sales. You are welcome to join us!
There are various parks in the area for a nice stroll during the day.

Kitchen: You have full access, so please do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests...we don't like those airbnb'ers :)
When using kitchen we expect our guests to clean up after themselves as well as place all trash in respective recycling bin.
Guests:
Please do not allow other visitors unless consulting us first.
Pets:
If traveling with pets we accept as long as no barking. Sorry no cats :/
Smoking:
Can smoke in the outside patio using ashtrays.
Damage: If you break or damage something, please let me know so any of us could arrange for its replacement or repair.

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
