We are a married couple in our 60s, both economist, that love music, literature, going to the cinema and enjoy life!! Ignacio is fluent in English and also speaks French and Russian. We like to know people coming from other cultures to learn about those places and at the same time show them why our country is so special and unique. We have more than 10 years of experience renting in Havana.
Our apartment is located in the ground floor of a two stories building from the 50s and we have excellent neighbors. There is a green space in the front area of the apartment with rocking chairs ideal for breakfasts or simply relax with a coffee or a cold Cuban beer. A living room with a sofa-bed, a nice dining room, a full equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. Everything at your disposal!!!! We are just a few meters away so you can reach us anytime.

About the Area
Our neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Vedado was built during the first 50 years of the XX Century mainly by the Cuban bourgeois so you will see lots of mansions and fancy houses mixed with nice apartment buildings, green spaces, wide avenues and plenty of choices for your night life. We are very close to the see, the Revolution Square, Christopher Columbus Cemetery and many new restaurants and bars.
Only 100 meters away you will find 23 Avenue, the main artery of Vedado, full of cinemas, theatres, good places for lunch, dinner or hang out at night. Public transportation is available on 23 Avenue to go to Old Havana with a 15-20 minutes ride. Vedado is perfect to walk and see its marvels of architecture.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
