A spacious room with private bathroom in a spacious apartment on the second floor of an elegant condominium, built in the 1950's, in the center of Vedado. The room is exquisitely furnished with a comfortable double bed, a dresser with a large mirror in the most genuine style of the fifties, curtains, TV set, mini-bar, telephone, air conditioning, hair dryer and safe. Located in the heart of Vedado, just in front of the Cardiovascular Hospital and a short distance from Malecón (Avenue facing the sea), Cohiba and Riviera hotels, theaters, first class restaurants, bars, discos, private restaurants (the so called paladares) (CADECAS), banks, ATMs, supermarkets and a well-stocked fruit and vegetable shopping center. WIFI internet access in the hotel located next to the apartment.
Guests can make use of the whole house, electrical appliances and large terrace. You can feel the warmth of a Cuban family and feel at home despite being in a foreign country.

About the Area
Our apartment is located in the center of Vedado, 10 minutes by car from Old Havana where you can find the main tourist attractions of Havana. Also 10 minutes by car from the residential area of Miramar. A few meters from the Havana boardwalk and close to the main hotels, restaurants, currency exchange, supermarkets and other places of interest such as the Plaza de la Revolución, Cemetery of Havana, etc. The apartment is located in front of the Cardiovascular Hospital and next to the Hotel Habana Paseo where you can access WI-FI.

Vicky is very friendly and helpful person. At the arrival she referred us home rules and gave us plenty of tips about Havana.
Flat is in nice and calm location. Close to Vedado main attractions.

It was my first stay using HOmestay dot com and it was perfect. Vicky's apartment is in a very nice neigbhourhood in Vedado Havana. The apartment is a cozy one and you really feel at home. The room was quite spacious and kept very clean. There were two main roads at walkable distance from Vicky's place from where you could get taxis to the main Havana easily. Also just adjacent to Vicky's building, there's a govt. wifi hotspot where you could use the wifi. The host was helpful and cared to respect my privacy and convenience.

How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
