My apartment is in a very central place in Havana, Cuba. Only 20 minutes walking from the tourist attractions of Old Havana, about 10 from the University of Havana and Vedado and 5 minutes from the most famous seaside promenade in the country.
A building of eclectic style built in 1926 during the time when the country was a neocolony of the United States. The apartment is on the ground floor, so you can have a perfect view of everyday Havana life.
My daughter and I live in the house and we frequently receive visits from other family members. We all love talking to our guests and making friends with them. They can always count on us to know an address or help them coordinate a visit to some place, either in Havana or in another city of Cuba.

About the Area
Centro Habana is a neighborhood with a lot of day and night life, but the structure of the house makes the rooms perfect for resting because you do not hear many noises. As its name indicates, Centro Habana is at the center of life in the Cuban capital. You can walk to most of the tourist attractions of the destination (Old Havana and Vedado are about 20 minutes walk). There is abundant public transportation and many places to eat different types of cuisine (light, Cuban Creole and international)

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Our guests are given the key to the house so they can enter and leave when they wish, so this must be for personal use and returned at the end of the stay.
Do not make noise after 23:00.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
