THE BEACH IS A 3 MINUTE WALK FROM THE HOUSE. There is a Bus for €5.00 from 9am to 2pm for different routes, our house has the necessary conditions, you can do diving, bird watching, hummingbird 100 meters from the house, crocodiles, and other excursions, there is wifi in our house, Good breakfast and good food are offered, at a good price for the client, taxi is organized for the transfer or excursions.
Our house is located in Caleton, in the Ciénaga de Zapata, right in front of the La Mulata shopping center, it has a natural and friendly environment so that you feel comfortable and enjoy that well-deserved rest on the beach, from the house we manage activities of nature, diving in the open sea with transparent waters directly in the network of corals with a great diversity of fish and other species in the area, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, access to natural pools for bathing, bicycle rental, boat ride, hiking, from the house we are a few minutes from the beach where you can see hummingbirds, tocororos, woodpeckers, carta cuba and many more, if you want to dine with fresh seafood, it is the ideal place. From home we offer diverse Cuban Creole dinners, typical of the area, as well as breakfasts, lunches and snacks, as well as exquisite cocktails, such as mojitos, cubalibre, daiquiris and others, which make Cuban cocktails a product of renowned prestige. The room has an independent entrance and has a private bathroom exclusively for the guest, with hot and cold water service 24 hours a day, air-conditioned room with mini bar. With windows and good lighting, as well as a fresco ceiling. It has a covered terrace for guests who wish to enjoy a cocktail while reading or chatting. Here you have the possibility of sharing with a typical Cuban family, simple at your service so that you can learn more about Cuba, enjoy a pleasant stay on the beach and feel as a family and at home.

Barbi and her husband are very warm and welcoming. The accommodation, with the room and the bathroom are clean and comfortable. The house is well placed in the center of Playa Larga!

We we‘re warmly welcomed with food and juice, offered a nice and tidy room and Barbara helped us to find the right spots to visit and organized bikes for us to go there (go to the grotte around 20km away and have a swim there it's amazing!).
It's a nice place to stay with a lovely Terrasse, 8 min from the beach. The breakfast is very recommendable!

Barby est une hôte formidable ! Elle est prête à vous renseigner sur tous les points. La maison est très belle, la chambre très spacieuse avec grande salle de bain et climatisation. La propreté est remarquable et Barby est une excellente cuisinière. Optez pour manger chez elle plutôt qu'au restaurant! Nous avons conseillé sa maison pour d'autres personnes qui sont restés plus longtemps que prévu. On compte bien en parler autour de nous. Merci pour tout Barby et ces généreux cadeaux!

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
