Our boutique B&B or casa particular like the local call in here, is located in the laid back fishermen village of Casilda, Trinidad, we are encrusted between the radiant beaches of Ancon peninsula and the topes del collantes mountains. Here, your mind, body, and soul can't help but relax and become one with the nature.
Every morning we prepare a nutritious and heath breakfast, with the freshest fruits and ingredients some of them come from or own vegetables and fruit garden, we believe that the first meal is the most important of your day, giving you energy and strength to walk around Trinidad, go up the topes del collantes mountains, swim at Ancon beach, talking to neighbors in Casilda or just relax at our casa particular backyard, that is up to you.

About the Area

The village of Casilda, was founded in 1808 by Andrés Valdés Pino, Casilda is located south of Trinidad (5 km ) on the Caribbean coast. It lies on the Casilda Bay, enclosed by the Ancón Peninsula, on which are located several hotels of Playa Ancón, Casilda's main road is Calle Real, and the Carretera a Ancón (also called Paseo Agramonte) links it to the peninsula, the village is 30 km from Valle de los Ingenios, 75 from Sancti Spíritus, 86 from Cienfuegos, and 182 from Santa Clara.

Trinidad was founded on December 23, 1514, by Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar under the name Villa de la Santísima Trinidad.
Iznaga was the originator of a powerful lineage which finally settled in Trinidad where the Torre Iznaga (Iznaga Tower) is. His descendants fought for the independence of Cuba and for annexation to the U.S., from 1820 to 1900.
Trinidad is one of the best-preserved cities in the Caribbean from the time when the sugar trade was the main industry in the region.
Casa particular do Sergio & Lesly, are located in the fishing village of Casilda, right between Trinidad and the Ancon beach, if you are looking to emerge in the Cuba culture this is the right place, you going to stay with a Cuban family, talk to neighbours, see how the real Cuban live day by day, Casilda is a relaxing fishermen village with friendly inhabitants, Playa Ancon is a powder sandy beach, warm Caribbean water, amazing snorkeling and romantic sunsets, Trinidad is a city museum, with globestone street, baroque architecture during the day and at night transformed itself into a salsa mecca, with various bars, clubs and one of best live music venues in Cuba.

We have more than 20 years in hospitality, work in the best of the industry, just to name some Movenpick restaurants of Switzerland, Morton's steakhouse of Chicago, Hilton Hotel in downtown Toronto, Four Season's hotel in Yorkville, gathering years of experience to open our own B&B, guests have enjoyed their stay at our casa particular.
I am Brazilian and my wife is Cuban, we speak Spanish, Portuguese, English and some Italian, we have 3 bedroom for rent, they all have air conditioner, fan, large window, a private bathroom, cold and hot water, king or queen size bed, one have a mini fridge.

Our B&B have a extra large backyard, playground, spacious garden and our own bar, we cooked healthy and nutritious homemade meal by request and lots of the vegetables, herbs and fruits that we use come from our own garden.

    if you are looking for a amazing and very quiet accomodation we higly recommend you to stay with Sergio. :)
    More reasons:
    - closer to the beaches of Ancon, bikes are available!
    - great breakfast and if you want a delicious dinner!!!
    - he helps a lot to plan and organize your trips (cheap taxi just some min. from and to Trinidad)
    - nice patio
    - amazing family

    Sergio and his family are really nice hosts. The house is beautiful and the surrounding with beach and Trinidad is amazing. Breakfast and dinner are almost the best you can get in Cuba! If you have any questions Sergio is very helpful and try’s to organise everything for your trip! Our two kids love to play with the kids! We really enjoyed our stay!!!

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
