The tourist enters, Sara smiles. She knows that once inside, she will attend to him so that he does not want to leave on the scheduled date, but to stay another day. The house is not a colonial mansion, but the fruit of many years of work. Her husband Yuni and she enjoy the home made with their own hands. Inside you feel the peace and blessing of your gods. With attention and good intentions have made a difference and that their customers enjoy the stay. The room is just that, but they deliver much more. Everything begins at the threshold. A wooden door is the boundary between the public and the private, between doubt and certainty, between the street and the intimate space of the home. Do not look for anonymity, the family will share the house with you. But your room is like a secret place behind a curtain and another door, near the main entrance. Once inside, one senses intimacy and a certain aura of magic. Who would imagine that behind that curtain you would find this. On your left, in the corner, the bathroom guesses; and at the opposite end of you, a tall window with wooden bars reveals a light from the outside.
Come back on your steps. Follow your hosts to the rest of the house. You will see an optimal use of space, however you will also feel spaciousness and warmth. A medium table for your breakfast. Two armchairs under the daylight, in a little skate in the middle of the house. The neat and delicious cuisine where Nayiri is queen.
More than 30 years serving after the bar in the hotel where he worked. There Sara learned the craft of cocktails. He wrote in his memory the formulas of dozens of Cuban and international drinks. Now he takes advantage of his experience and knowledge to please his own guests. But who else enjoys and tastes flavors and recipes is his daughter Nayiri. Who since adolescence began to enjoy the food and how to prepare it. Between both offer with love and knowledge pleasures to the palate.
Living from the treatment of others implies sincere humility and vocation for service. Especially if your business is not the best located in the city. But the biggest difference is in people, not in walls or geography. That's why Sara and Yuni, the hosts of Hostal Sarayun, do their best to please their clients. He or she always stays at home when customers are. Although domestic chores and TV shows seem to catch the attention of Sara and Yuni, they are actually expectant to their guests.

Host reply

I highly highly recommend to stay in Sarah's casa. They are absolutely wonderful family.
Sarah welcomed us with delicious Mojitos. Rooms are big enought for two people.
The breakfast was great. We decided to try her dinner on the first day and it was the best decision ever. We had home meals everyday. You won't get better dinner in any restaurant in Trinidad ( Sarah's prawn cocktail for a starter and fish for main - oh my Gooood!). Make sure you go on empty stomach because it's a lot of food they serve. Delicious.
It' centrally located, literally 5 maybe 8 minutes walk to the main square. Overall we absolutely loved it.Host reply
