Hostal 4 Esquinas is one of the modern houses of the city of Trinidad that stand out for its beauty and the central position in which it is located. Located just 30 m from the Plaza Carrillo, which is the center of the city and the main shopping centers, of the Currency Exchange Houses, of ETECSA, which is the provider of Wi-Fi and international telephone services. Available for rent there are 2 spacious and heated rooms on the second level of the house. One with capacity for 2 people and the other for 3 people. The air conditioning is done with silent and efficient Split equipment. Each room has its private interior bathroom, with constant cold and hot water service. Large terraces on the third level, from where you can get beautiful views of the city center and its surroundings, as well as having a minibar stocked with soft drinks, beverages and bottled water. Juan Cecilio worked for many years as a professor of History of Cuba, likes to socialize with his clients and to transmit to them his knowledge about the city and Cuba in general.
The city of Trinidad is located in the central region of Cuba, specifically in the south of the Cuban province of Sancti Spíritus, and is the capital of the municipality of the same name.
The Villa de la Santisima Trinidad was the third village founded by the Spanish Crown in Cuba, at the beginning of 1514. The town was founded with the presence of Adelantado Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar, and it was evolving rapidly, which made it possible to be one of the most prosperous of the largest of the Antilles.
The conservation and restoration work undertaken by specialists in this area of south-central Cuba, and the love that its inhabitants profess to their city, made it one of the best-preserved colonial cities not only of Cuba, but also of America, and to be inscribed on the World Heritage List by Unesco next to the Valle de los Ingenios in 1988, an area where the sugar industry prospered with the arrival of the Iznaga, Borrell and Brunet families towards the middle of the 19th century.
Trinity
This sugar production, which enriched the owners of these mills, caused them to emerge both in Trinidad and in the Valley, mansions and palaces that today are the pride of Cuban culture. The date of its foundation is celebrated each year with a Week of Trinitarian Culture; in January 2009 the 495th birthday of the city was celebrated.

Family vacation
Take a steam train and take a tour of the historic sugar mills of the Valle de los Ingenios, outside of Trinidad. Attend with the children a game of "pelota" (baseball), the national sport of Cuba, in any of the stadiums in the area, where the sound and enthusiastic support of the defenders of each team and Cuban music is never lacking. Visit the natural parks of Escambray and organize excursions on horseback through the sites of the town of Trinidad. Enjoy with your children the numerous museums that abound in the area and tell them about the origins of Cuban culture.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
