Located on Luz Street, in the Historic Center of the city of Trinidad, the Margarita Vera hostel rents a room on the second level of the property. Located just 100 meters from Plaza Santa Ana, shopping center and restaurant of the same name. It is a family house but guests have exclusive access to the second level where the room is located and a large terrace. The room is heated with a split equipment, it also has a wall fan and a window to the outside. Bed linen is provided and changed at the request of guests. Cleaning the room is also a priority in this house. The bathroom is private inside, for use only by customers; It has a permanent supply of cold and hot water. It is also provided free of charge the essential elements for personal hygiene such as soap, shampoo, towels and toilet paper. The hosts live in the house and provide their clients with free light breakfasts for each reserved day.
Margarita, the hostess, prepares exquisite gastronomic offerings such as breakfasts and dinners but also allows the use of the kitchen, in addition to the use of the landline for local calls and to contact the next destination.

We really enjoyed our stay with Margarita, she was very sweet and welcoming. The room itself was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Margarita helped us to organise our taxis and tour of the Valley at very reasonable prices. We would recommend her place to anyone looking to stay in Trinidad.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
