About the Area
Our house is located in the historic center of the city, just 20 meters from the Plaza Mayor, in front is the History Museum known as Cantero Palace, as well as the Alderman's Inn, when it doubles the Art Gallery and the beautiful Plaza Mayor, with the House of Music, the Holy Trinity Church, all the emblematic ny beautiful lugarew of the city one block away, unique position in the city.

_Payment is mandatory EUROS or USD
I can offer you excellent breakfasts ranging from 5 USD to Euros per person.
_The cleaning and organization is carried out by the host daily, the change of bedding will be made at the request of the guest.
_Appointments or stays of people other than guests are not allowed due to security measures.
_They must be careful throughout their stay, any questions or suggestions should be communicated to the host since he is a kind, intelligent and well-mannered person.
_As a host I speak English, not perfectly but I can understand them.
_Away from home if you have a problem I will be ready to help you.
_I do not like my clients to be scammed by unscrupulous people, so they must be careful when making selections.
_Rentals of taxis, bicycles, horseback riding or any other activity should contact me for better prices and the exact time of your trips.
_On the street you will find many kinds of people offering you things to buy. Please, Cuba is not at the expense of scammers.
_Please...When going out on excursions or trips to the city, make sure you leave everything in order, especially the electrical ignition and the well-closed water taps.
_Do not throw toilet paper down the drain since my house is in the oldest place in the city and we lack current modernism.

Stayed in casa Cidron for three nights with my wife and we could not have wished for more at Santiago's place. We arrived by bus around 23:00h and Santiago was already waiting for us. The casa is really cosy, spacious and completely for yourself. The wifi worked well and the location is perfect, close to all main attractions in Trinidad. Breakfast is varied and delicious and served at the roof terras if you want. Santiago is the perfect example of the way you would like a host to be. He respects your privacy, speaks English very well, helps you with anything you need, always respons quickly, serves great breakfast and is nice to have a chat with. Great fellow or

Santiago is a super helpful and friendly host! He had a really, really clean house. Santiago is speaking English well and so he could tell us a lot about Cuba and Trinidad :). Breakfast was also good! Location is perfect, you're really staying in the centre, so everything walking distance. Thank you for everything Santiago!

Super Casa mit toller Lage und außergewöhnlich netten Betreiber. Santiago hat uns von der sehr nahen Viazulbushaltestelle abgeholt. Die Casa ist super in der Altstadt gelegen und ideal um Trinidad zu besuchen. Santiago spricht englisch und hilft gerne. Leider war unser Aufenthalt zu kurz, darüber haben wir uns geärgert.

This was absolutely one of the best casa's we stayed in during our roundtrip in Cuba. Perfect location ( in the old centre and just one street away from plaza major), spacious (the whole house to ourselfs, including a roofterras), clean and a very friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommanded:-)

We finally stayed 5 nights at Santiago's. We loved the city of Trinidad and Santiago made us stay at home.
We woke up in the morning with his presence making breakfast, a yummy homemade yogurt.
Santiago is very good advice, and its accommodation is very well located. Thanks to you. I would come back to Trinidad. +++++ :)))January 2019

Santiago is a great host! He walked with us towards the bank en the excursion office. You got the whole house at your disposal with 3 double beds. The roof terrace is an absolut blast in the afternoon or early mornings. The house is just around the corner of the viazul busstation and at the heart of the center. Breakfast is amazing too. Santiago even made us fresh yoghurt! Highly recommanded. Thanks Santiago! Hope to see you again sometime.

I had a great time at Santiago's house!! He is super nice and helpful. He made us a very good and diverse breakfast. I am a vegeterian so he prepared lots of vegetables and fruits. And also juice, eggs, toasts, cheese and coffee! His hluse is very clean and close to the Plaza Mayor. And it also has a very cool terrace! Super recommend it to anyone!!

Santiago’s Casa and welcome were outstanding. He met us from our taxi and showed us around his lovely home with beautiful roof terrace as an added bonus. Santiago cane each morning to make a gorgeous breakfast with everything from fresh juice; fresh fruit; home made jams and yoghurts. He gave us all the tourist information we needed and could not do enough for us. I would highly recommend Santiago as a host and please do visit his casa as it is exceptional.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
