I recently had the pleasure of staying at Madame Mercedes' place in Havana, and I must say it was a delightful experience.
Madame Mercedes is a wonderful hostess who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. She put in a lot of effort to help me with tour arrangements and provided valuable recommendations on where to eat, ensuring that I had a fantastic time exploring the city.
The room itself, while simple, exceeded my expectations and was an absolute value for the money. Nestled in a quiet district, it provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets of Havana. One of the highlights for me was waking up to the soothing melodies of birds, a rare and serene experience in the heart of Havana.
The location is also advantageous, being very close to the University of Havana. This made it convenient for me to explore the campus and its surroundings.
All in all, I highly recommend Madame Mercedes' Airbnb for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Havana. Her hospitality, coupled with the value and tranquility of the room, made my visit truly memorable. I would not hesitate to book with her again in the future.
Thank you, Madame Mercedes, for making my stay in Havana so enjoyable!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Mercedes home. Mercedes and Ari both were so lovely, welcoming and very helpful and our two young boys felt very comfortable. The recommendations they gave us were invaluable and we greatly appreciated the tourist information they had in the room. The location of their home in Vedado is really very good and an easy walk to restaurants, transport, the money exchange and we felt safe. Thank you for hosting our family.

The casa is located between Vedado and Havana Centre, close to the University and The revolutionary square. Havana Vieja is a big half hour walking. Well located, nice and clean house. Steep and small stairs to enter. Mercedes was very helpful and did everything to make us feel comfortable on our first days in Cuba. Her breakfast gave us the energy to walk for hours and hours in this astonishing heart-moving (and often heart breaking) city. Lots of good restaurants in the area and both very nice Colonial and Modernist houses. We particularly liked Pajla restaurant. Don't limit your visit to Havana to Havana Vieja. Maybe one drawback, our room had no outside views.

We are a hungarian couple, we stayed in Mercedes casa s 6 nights, we had the most amazing hosting in our journey. Mercedes is a big hearted, helpful person, we got more idea where to go, how to manage the transfer, where to eat cheaper :). She accepted us like family members. Mercedes not only hosted us, she took care of us the whole journey in Cuba.
Thank you for all Mercedes.
