A family of four two adults and two pups. We have had plenty of experience hosting people from around the world as we are a host family in several of the universities of Ecuador. We are very respectful and expect the same of anyone who comes to our home. My husband and I work in a little restaurant in central Quito. Our home is in the north central part of Quito in the cities oldest neighborhood. We are sorrounded by various means of transportation, restaurants, theaters, and museums. My husband and I love our city and have no problem helping you get the best experience out of your trip possible.

About the Area
Our apartment is located in the north central of Quito. La Floresta is located near many means of travel meaning 8 bus lines that take you all over Quito. We are 15 minutes from Quito's prize winning Centro Historico. We are about 14 blocks away from La Plaza Fish which is an amazing place to get a great bite to eat, and dance at night. It is one of the biggest safest hotspots for night life and tourism. My husband and I know our neighborhood and city very well so we have no problem helping you decide what to visit and providing a mean of transportation.

People, must pay for their reservation upon arrival. you can not bring any type of visits to our apartment, it is not allowed to drink alcholicas drinks, you can not use the kitchen.

Ximena and Gus are the perfect host family. Very friendly, fun and knowledgable of Ecuador. They are always willing to help and always help practice Spanish too. Would love to come back!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
