We are a typical Ethiopian family. You will be very nicely welcomed at our place. Our place has recently been built. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. We have one room with bathroom and other rooms with shower outside the rooms. It is located on a hill so that you have a view on the landscape and the sunset !
We are very eager to keep the place clean and taken care of.
We can organise typical Ethiopian coffee ceremony. There is a restaurant next door But we can also prepare meals on demand.
We can also organise your whole trip on demand.

About the Area
Our place is located in the city center. You can take tuktuk to every places around (including the famous Unesco heritage sites, the restaurants, and the wonderful mountain landscape !)
You can even hike from our place and easily reach the 3200 meters high summits ! A breathtaking view is waiting for you !!! We can organise guides, car rental, mule riding to the mountain and Asheten Mariam Monastry church ! We have very good guides who can explain a lot about Lallibela and Ethiopia also.
Coming from the airport is very easy (a 25 minutes drive). We can organise pick-up (5 dollars per person).

The accommodation provides you with everything you need, such as a comfortable bed, nice setting plus location and a gentle treatment by the staff. Nevertheless, it is not a homestay in itself, but a sort of guesthouse actually named "Mini-Lalibella" so, consequently enough, you're not staying with locals and fully living the experience of a homestay, but staying in a regular commercial spot. Toilet and bathroom are split, just for the record, something fairly convenient, and the breakfast is a plus.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
