I am 68 years old, I live on the first floor of a detached house. I like to communicate my good mood! I am a French trainer.
The notions of sharing and exchange are important to me so I decided to welcome guests.
My house is located in a green area, on the edge of a departmental road, opposite a cycle path, and starting point for many paths...Ideal for cyclists and hikers!
It is my main residence, for this reason, please notify me, at least, 1 week in advance. The bedroom, with a real comfortable bed, overlooks the garden. In fine weather, garden table and chairs are set up far from the road. The land is vast and closed by a gate. There is an effective air cooler.
If you wish, I can offer you my services: help you discover the region, give you French conversation lessons.
Depending on my availability, I can pick you up at Avignon or Aix-en-Provence train station.
I only accept requests from people displaying a profile (photo + verified identities and contact details).
For a stay of 1 to 3 days, I share the apartment with you. I'll let you have the sofa bed for 30 euros per night (1 person only).
From 4 days, I leave the entire apartment to you (50€ for 1 person, 60€ for 2)
I prefer stays of at least 15 days in July and August.

About the Area
The countryside a stone's throw from the city. EVERYTHING can be done without a car! Shopping, leisure...
Take the cycle path (in front of the house) to go jogging, cycling or simply for a walk...The bus station is just a stone's throw away, you will also find a carpooling and electric bike rental point.Since little, a pretty footbridge allows you to cross a river, the Calavon, and to access the swimming pool in 5 minutes on foot (only in July/August). In the neighborhood, a shared garden, a place of conviviality.

Meals

Agathe à été très réactive pour m'accueillir. Quelle joie de faire sa rencontre ! J'ai été très bien accueillie , le repas était excellent après une grosse journée de vélo et j'ai passé un très bon moment. Agathe est une personne chaleureuse pleine d'énergie. Je vous recommande vivement de la rencontrer.

Agathe was a friendly helpful host who made us very welcome. Her home was very clean and had everything you would want. Although only 2 minutes from the centre of Apt it was relaxing and felt like the countryside. We had a marvelous time exploring the surrounding beautiful villages

Apt is a beautiful little town in the South of France & Agathe is a friendly, warm hearted host who really enjoys sharing information & showing one the beauty of the town & surroundings. It was a memorable experience.

Notre sejour chez Agathe etait tres agreable. Elle nous a recue tres chaleureuse et avec une oreille ouverte pour tous nos besoins. On a partagé des moments tres jolis ensemble! Le site de l`appartement est proche du centre d´Apt et en meme temps ideal pour des promenades au Luberon. Merci beaucoup Agathe et surement a une autre fois!!

Io e mio marito siamo stati da Agathe per 4 giorni a giugno per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio. Già prima di arrivare la signora è stata gentilissima preoccupandosi di controllare le previsioni del tempo sapendo che viaggiavamo in moto... all'arrivo ci ha fatto trovare dei piccoli regali come ricordo del soggiorno e ci ha lasciato la sua casa tutta per noi, andando a dormire da un'amica. Le avevamo chiesto di prepararci una cena, che ha cucinato con le specialità del posto. Sapendo che volevamo fare un giro nella Provenza ci ha anche lasciato dei preziosi suggerimenti e depliant dei luoghi più caratteristici. E' stata una bellissima esperienza, Agathe è gentilissima e consigliamo sia la sua piccola, ma accogliente casa, che un bel viaggio in Provenza!!

Ma sœur et moi avons été reçues avec toute l'attention possible! les repas et les vins furent d'une finesse très satisfaisante, la chambre et les commodités largement suffisantes. L'amabilité de notre hôte, la convivialité et le partage des moments ensemble furent d'une belle qualité! Lieu facile à trouver, la campagne à la ville... parfait à mon sens! je recommande l'adresse! Nous allons nous revoir!

Agathe is the perfect homestay host! I would gladly recommend anyone to stay in her warm home in the middle of beautiful Provence!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
