Welcome to my home!
You will stay in a spacious guest room with private terrace in my 2 bedroom apartment in which I live with my wife and 2 children and that I share with tourists passing through.
As a guest (s), you will share with us the fully equipped kitchen, the dining / living room, the bathroom and the toilet.
The apartment is located in a residence on the 1st floor and is composed of 2 terraces overlooking a canal, a wooded park and a large lake. Close to the stadium, the exhibition center, the tram, the shopping center. 10 minutes from downtown. Possibility to accommodate 4 people thanks to the living room equipped with a sofa bed for 2 people.
I will be happy to answer any questions you may have or to give you information or advice about Bordeaux.

About the Area
Our neighborhood is located north of the city in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We are 3 km from the city center and only 15 minutes drive from the airport. The bus stop is just 2 minutes walk and serves several lines.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Preferred payment method: Paypal (international and domestic transactions)
Payment Method: Please note that your host requires that guests pay 100% on the day of booking.
Your host prefers Paypal. It is best to discuss this with the host to make sure the arrangement and payment methods are right for you too.
Also, before arrival, I need a copy of your passport. First page, 1st and 2nd page, the photo page. In case you do not have a passport, you can send a copy of an identity card or driver's license if you come from France.
Cancellations: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days notice for any cancellation. Any subsequent cancellations will not be refunded.
Smoking is allowed on the terrace of the private room.
Please remove the shoes, but you may need socks or thick sleepers for comfort in cold weather.
The keys are not distributed to the younger ones.
A simple breakfast is provided. You can request lunch or dinner and packaged sandwiches at extra costs. You can use the kitchen for light cooking, such as an omelette, soup and a food to warm.
Your friends and other guests and personal parties do not have access to the apartment.

Kelema et Elsa sont trés gentil. J'ai reposé trés bien dans la maison. Elsa á marche avec moi á le marché , et j'ai été très content á acheter les legumes pas cher pour mon voyage :) La maison est près le trèn (10 minutes marcher), et c'est facile à aller à le ville. Merci beaucoup~! (Et pardons mon français :) )
Kelema and Elsa are very kind people, and I had a relaxing stay at their place. Elsa walked with me to the local supermarket which was so helpful for a budget traveler like me :) Their place is near the metro station too, easy to get to main city. While their place is more in the suburbs, I felt very safe in the neighborhood. Good place to stay for 1 or 2 people who like to experience how Bordeaux people live outside of the tourist hub. Elsa speaks English, but I think it is helpful too if you know some French. Merci Elsa and Kelema :)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
