About the Homestay
I'm an English guy who's been living in Paris for 20 years. I rent out a private double room in my apartment (44m2) right across from the iconic Canal St Martin. The apartment is close to lots of shops, amazing restaurants and bars, and iconic Parisian sights. My guests also have shared access (with me) to the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. It's best suited to a young single traveler or young couple.
If you're interested ,I can also suggest lots of places to eat, drink, or go out for fun nightlife activities around the city.
Please note: The apartment is currently being renovated and right now there's a tarp over one wall of the shower, but don't worry the shower is still fully functional and at your disposal!

I enjoyed my stay with Jon in Paris a lot. The flat is cosy and simple but has everything you need. It is located directly at Canal St.-Martin in Paris and just a few minutes from Gare de
l’Est and Place de la République, an area with a lot of pubs, coffee bars, shops and a vital nightlife. Jon was a very easy going and polite host. I totally recommend it! If you`re looking for an authentic and central place to discover Paris easily, that’s it!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
