Is there an approval process?

If you're matched to a Local Partner, you will go through an approval process that includes a homestay visit and inspection by our Local Partner.

If you're not matched to a Local Partner, we will review your homestay listing and activate it to go live on Homestay.com.

A guest can only book your homestay after they have contacted you through our messaging system to check if you are available for their dates of travel.

You'll be notified of any new messages from guests about your availability by email and SMS.

Once you review the details and confirm you are available on those dates, the guest can then go ahead and book your homestay. You'll also receive an email confirmation once the guest has completed the booking process.
