Scenic views of the lake and surrounding mountains can be enjoyed from all rooms at Háholt Cosy House in Laugarvatn. Kitchen facilities include a stove, dishwasher and microwave. A flat-screen TV with DVD player is found in the living room. Access WFI to internet is good.
This house is ideal accommodation together with family or small groups. Laugarvatn is around 70 km from Reykjavík, placed midways between Thingvellir and Geysi ! You may like it for lovely private stay It comfortably centrally located. It is perfect to stay for couples and families.
Ground floor; come into the hall, toilet and shower, living room and dining room, balcony door out to the terrace, fully equipped kitchen, stove and ovens, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and microwave own.
Second floor; staircase, laundry room, a magnificent romantic bathroom, two spacious bedrooms with queen-size beds and one with twin-size bed,sofabed and baby bed if needed. Nice and cozy living room with TV and DVD player , CD player lounge is a balcony with spectacular views to the lake and Hekla. Bed linen, towels, shampoo and soaps are in the house.
If there is anything I can do to make your stay in Iceland more pleasant don´t hesitate to ask.

Nearest attractions and things to do from Laugarvatn by car:
National Park Thingvellir 15 mín, Gulfoss and Geysi 20min, Skálholt Church 20 min, Kerid.is 15 min, Selfoss 30 min (Shopping/groceries/medical services) Hveragerði Eldhestar 40 min ( horse riding) In Thingvellir you can go diving in Silfra. Cow-farm Efstidalur Restaurant/ Cafe they made own ice cream 15 minutes drive from the house. Ten minutes walk to Geothermal bath Fontana and only 700 hundred meters to Supermarket.

House Rules
Primary key is against front door as in a gray safety lockbox. The code to open lockbox is ( Sent in a e-mail to guest ) ???? and open the door and please put that key again to lockbox and scramble it. Other keys are inside to use. Use it if your host is away. Access for WFI connection code is under router and text on flyer.
It can be stiff to open and close door onto a balcony. Please lock them whenever you go out.
Please take shoes off in hall. It will be nice of you take linen off to laundry room before you leave. You are warm welcome and we hope you have comfortable stay at Háholt Cosy House in Laugarvatn
Flexible - 14 days
The guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.
No prepayment is needed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
