According to the latest World Health (WHO) study on ambient air quality among 123 Indian cities,Pathanamthitta was found to have the cleanest air in India.
Ranni is fast developing tourist place situated in high range which is approximately 65 KM from Sabarimala temple. TheSabarimala temple complex located inside the Periyar tiger reserve in Kerala.
We ( Lal George and Elsy) will be sharing the same house with the guests during their stays .

About the Area
Ranny is one of the 5 taluks in Pathnamthitta district.Ranni is fast developing tourist place situated in high range which is approximately 65 KM from Sabarimala temple. TheSabarimala temple complex located inside the Periyar tiger reserve in Kerala. It is the site of the one of the largest annual pilgrimage in the world.Ranni is approx. 50 KM from Alappuzha and Kumarakom and is also situated in the middle of Kochinand TrivandrumAirports, bothapprox. 2.5 hours’ drive from our place. The proposed new Sabarimala (Erumeli) airport is around 10 KM from Ranny. Both Tiruvalla and Chenganoor railway stations are around half an hour drive from our place. The famous Peruthenaruvi water falls is approx.10 KM from Ranny, which is one of the popular tourist destinations in central Asia.We are one of the few homestays in central Kerala possessing a Diamond Category certificate from the department of tourism, govt. of Kerala. Zarah’s house is being run by Mr. George and his wife Mrs. Elsy who have spent more than 40 years working in middle yeast and United Kingdom.

No smoking inside the homestay . No big noise after 12 pm. Use of Narcotics is banned. pets are not allowed

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
