House Rules

Since we live in an offbeat place, there are a few things which we would like to bring to your notice so that you can plan ahead.

1. Please carry all your necessities; medicines, snacks, warm clothes.
2. We live in a village; we implore you to be mindful of the local life and activities of the people around.
3. The villagers are friendly, respectful and helpful, they'd appreciate the same in return
4. The property is located in the GNHP nature park so we must nurture our surroundings.
5. Our property has a bounty of various fruit trees that are cherished by the host and villagers. Unauthorized plucking of the fruits may attract a penalty by the villagers. Ask the host if you want to pluck fresh fruits; we are happy to help.
6. Use dustbins provided to throw away your litter.
7. We do not recommend the use of plastic and do not have a proper plastic and waste disposal system; please carry your plastic waste with you on your way out.
8. Smoking in most rooms is not allowed; to avoid penalties, please check with the host for alternatives.
9. Food is not served in the rooms; please join us in the space dedicated to share our meals.
10. Please feel at home and treat it as your home too. The host has definitely gone the extra mile to maintain it and keep it homey.
11. The guest will be liable to pay for any damages to the property or the items therein; however, since everything has been personally curated by the host from different parts of the country; we request you to avoid making any damages.
12. Loud music is only allowed till 9pm, we make sure not to disturb animals and villagers living around.
13. Please do not flush toilet paper or foreign objects in the washrooms to avoid clogging.
14. We are in an offbeat location, experience power outages; the lack of power back up may motivate you to explore the expanse of valley with its mesmerizing views.
15. Please ask the host for local village trails and sightseeing options.

Smoking Rules

Your host is a non-smoker.

Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
