The homestay Dera Roda is located in Sadul Gunj, a premier locality in central Bikaner. The quite locality lets us provide an intimate and a serene atmosphere for our guests who we welcome personally. We are Vishwa Vijay and Anindita - your hosts. Vishwa Vijay is a travel professional and Anindita an educationist. The Dera Roda has 4 well appointed rooms for guests to stay in. Two premier rooms are on the ground floor of the main building, and the other two which are simpler, are on the first floor of the annexe. We have a large lawn in front of the main building, a large private driveway which can hold around 8 cars beside free parking outside the premises. The sitting room cum library, or the courtyard at the back offers space to gather in the evenings to get to know each other and talk. We love to interact with our guests if they so want.

About the Area
Our house is located in Central Bikaner and is close to all the main tourist attractions of the town. There is a market, two massive college campuses with a bicycle cum jogging track just next door. The airport is a 15 minutes' drive, while the railway station and govt bus station are within 7 to 8 minutes. An important landmark - Panchshati Circle is a 5 minutes' walk from our house. The Junagarh Fort can be reached in 5 minutes.

House Rules
Its important for the guests to know that ours is a homestay, and not a hotel. We the owners live here and will welcome guests who respect the sanctity of our home. No smoking in the rooms, no eating in the rooms. There are lots of spaces in the property for you to sit and enjoy your meal. All guests should have valid identity cards as mandated by the Indian govt. Please call ahead of arriving so that we can be ready to receive you.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
