PARADIS SUR TERE ( Heaven On Earth ) is the place to stay while visiting Periyar area. On top of a hill, away from traffic and people, you'll find four perfectly quiet lovely rooms with all the expected comfort & private balcony. Gorgeous organic food is cooked from everything grown in the garden. We are running this homestay and we promise to help to provide you everything the area can offer. To rest after a trek or breathe away from the city crowd and monkeys, this is definitely the place to choose.

About the Area
Built on top of a hill overlooking the little city of Kumily in Idukki District, it offers spectacular views of all the beautiful surrounding landscape, as well as precious privacy and quiet, away from the town traffic and the tourist scene. Its four big rooms are all equipped with modern comfort (24h hot water, free wifi and wide screen TV) but also made out of eco-friendly materials such as wood and bamboo. Located on the first floor of the house, all rooms open on private balconies right in the middle of the luscious trees of the garden.
The garden itself is a piece of Eden, where children can play around and enjoy feeding the goats and the chickens, and where grown-ups can watch wildlife from the five floor high watchtower or relax around the campfire at night. A huge variety of spices and vegetables are also grown there, and are the main ingredients of the exclusively organic cooking served in the house.

Being a eco friendly homestay and a family living place we are against smoking and drinks inside the room . no room service.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
