Aikyam is Uttarakhand (India) Govt. registered Homestay. It is uniquely located on the outskirts of Dehradun towards Mussoorie in peaceful natural green surroundings. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet connected with all basic and modern amenities. Free from any type of pollution sound /air / water.
There are 3 spacious bedrooms with luxurious interiors for guests on first floor with a living dining, a kitchenette and open front patio with outdoor sitting.
The hosts, Rajiv Gupta along with wife Shama Gupta, live on ground floor to welcome and look after the guests at their homestay. Guest floor (first floor) has separate entry, so no need to pass through any livable area on Ground floor.
Rajiv Gupta is a Structural Consultant and shama Gupta is an Architect. Both have more or less retired from their main profession, fully believing in “ You have to put off being young until you can retire” . To host people from various walks of life and managing the homestay is a passion and not a profession to them.
Through your private balcony and large windows the morning sun, the most precious gold to be found on earth, wakes you up in the morning. A truly soul elevating moment when waking up in the morning hearing chirping of birds, feeling the cool breeze of fresh air while getting uninterrupted views of sprawling lush green canopy of trees in front, Mussoorie Hills on one side whereas Dehradun Valley on another side.
Location: 4.0 km. from Malsi Deer Park.

Getting Around:
Ola / prepaid taxi / cabs are easily available and best option of getting around. Self driven scooty / bike taxis also available.
Food:
Breakfast is given complimentary with options of Aloo paratha, butter toast, egg to order, sandwiches and milk/tea/coffee. For lunch and dinner you can either self cook or enjoy delicious home cooked vegetarian meals with the host. For that fixed menu thali system is there.

House Rules
1. Check out time is 10.am.
2. We close main entry door at 10.0 pm.
3. Please respect night closing time and checkout times.
4. No loud noise / music or parties / events.
5. No smoking/vape/e-cig or candles inside the house. Please smoke on open patio or balconies.
6. No alcohol consumption.
7. Let me know about any spills or stains straight away.
8. No unregistered guests allowed.
9. No food from outside is allowed.
10. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
11. Please turn off the AC and lights when you go out.
The Most important rule is smile....Enjoy your stay!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
