I'm 50 years old living in Mumbai. I live Alone in a 2 bhk apartment. Being a local, I will be attending our guests directly – from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between. Our Apartment is fully furnished and have all the amenities of home!
I have been in travel industry for more than 15 years. I love music, travelling and movies. I would like share my travel experience with all those who want to feel safe within India

About the Area
We are located in the center of Mumbai city, area called Mahim. To be precise we are between Mahim & Dadar area, from where the whole city is centrally connected for traveling in & outside Mumbai. Hinduja Hospital is just 3 mins. walk from our house.
I love the area as you have access to an open ground park, where you can walk, jog, cycle, play football, cricket, skate and even sit around. Just step away you can walk on the beach
You can also have your morning tea/coffee or enjoy your breakfast around the park. You can also try local cuisine for USD 5 Per Person
Alternatively, Guest can consider trying various traditional cuisine for just USD 15 per person per person at the below mentioned restaurants.

2 Culture Curry - Its the first and one of its kind restaurant in Maharashtra offering a wide variety of south Indian food, including some of the unexplored non - vegetarian cuisine from God’s own backyard – Kerala !

Sightseeing & Shopping places that one can explore is Gateway Of India, Night life towards town, Shopping at Phoenix Mall, an excursion to Chokhi Dhani - A Rajasthani Theme Village where you get to see a puppet show, folk dance, and get the feel of local village followed by dinner.
You can also take a day excursion to Elephanta Caves or Ajanta & Ellora Caves ( monsoons travelling by sea it is not possible)
For a weekend getaway, you can consider taking an excursion to Serene hill station Matheran or to Mahableshwar or else explore the silent beach of Alibaug
Getting around
Travelling within the City :
From Mahim to Churchgate, Nariman Point, Fort, Colaba, you can travel by yellow Cab, Bus or train.
From Mahim to Bandra,Linking Road you can travel by yellow Cab, Bus or train. From Bandra Tuk Tuk is available to travels to Linking Road, Juhu, further down suburbs, if you wish to save a bit on transportation.

2) Do let us know whenever you need cleaning or change of linen.
3) note, no drugs, no pets, & no outside guests is allowed
4) Request you to turn off the lights/fan/hot water heater when leaving the house
5) No smoking in the room or in the premises or in stairways.
6) need passport xerox, visa Xerox & 3 passport size photos
7) wifi access is given to in house guest only
8) Check -In Time : 1400 hrs

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
