“Hackett Stayz” is located at Beolia near the IAS Colony in the
outskirts of the Shimla Corporation Area, Himachal Pradesh, India. Feel the peace and
tranquility only 25 -30minutes from the main bus stand/mall road Shimla
town centre. Enjoy nature in its bounty from rooms, at night; sit
under the cluster of stars on the wide open terraces outside. The
beautiful mountains/hills are visible from inside the rooms.
Each room is outfitted with clean, contemporary furniture, as well as
all modern amenities. We provide home-cooked vegetarian food. Meals
can also be ordered from restaurants as per their menu & delivery
charges.
Drive-in property with ample parking space - Taxi and guide can be
arranged for sightseeing and environment friendly treks. Separate
accommodation is available for the driver or support staff.
"Hackett Stayz" is a private residence where the owner with his family
resides. Owner is a working State Administrative Service Officer and
his wife is Assistant Professor in the Himachal Pradesh
University. “Hackett Stayz” is a part of Himachal home stays – an Indian
Government sponsored and State Government backed initiative to promote
ecologically sustainable tourism & social travel in the Rural Areas.

Kitchen facility for self cooking is available. Additional charges
apply on per day basis. One child below 5 years of age can be
accommodated in parent's room on existing bed. One further child is
charged additionally with or without an extra bed
Rooms can be combined to provide adjoining sets as per specific
requirement, however with prior intimation.
Price does not include breakfast, lunch or dinner and is on "room only
basis" (with kitchen). Meals, if required, are available on additional
payment. Daily utilities like dairy products, juices, soft drinks and
daily use items are available from shops nearby.
Housekeeping/Cleaning, including change of bed linens and towels,
waste bins are emptied out every day. Housekeeping does not include
washing of clothes or cleaning of kitchen area (cooking platform,
stove, utensils and fridge).
Arrival and Departure Policy
Check in – From 15:00 (03:00 P.M) till 21:00 (09:00 P.M) and Check out
– Before 12:00 (12:00 Noon).
Guests are requested to present proof of identity (a photo ID card) at
the time of check in. Foreign nationals are to provide Passport and
Visa details at the time of check -in and fill up Foreigner's
Registration form as per Government norms.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
