Nestled in the green carpet in the Idukki range is your home away from home when you travel to Thekkady. Misty green offers you a sense of being a part of the Idukki ecosystem. Located close to the Thekkady Lake road, Misty green offers you a wide range of options for your holiday. While we believe in providing you all the amenities required for the comfort of your stay, we strongly believe in giving you a sense of being at home.
Misty green staff will treat you to some exquisite Kerala cuisines during your stay with us. All our rooms have Television sets as to keep your window to the world open. When you are here, explore the wide range of wildlife at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary

About the Area
If you are travelling by bus and stop at Kumily Bus Stand, you cross over into Thekkady and there’s an auto stand just about 20 meters. Take a normal auto to Maggi’s Misty green Homestay – they charge about Rs.40 – 50. Ensure that the auto drivers do not take you to a wrong place since the same was warned several times. You can also pick a cab if you’re travelling in a group and a bit of luggage. These guys charge 150 – 200 Rs.
It’s quite a short ride from where you get off the bus – about 10 minutes, maximum 15. You travel through the town so get a load of where you want to pick up your souvenirs and spices, pretty much what you take away from here in a tangible denotation.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
