A Kerala Government Tourism sanctioned Diamond status (Class A) HomeStay- TJ’s Home Stay is on a ground of nearly 30 cents surrounded by nutmeg, jackfruit, coconut and many more trees
The renovated building was the last abode of a nature-loving, friendly old couple Thankam & John Chazhoor (my parents).
There are two independent villas available- Thankam's Villa and John's Villa.Each villa has a private sitout, sitting room and private bathroom.
We live in the old portion of the house when guests arrive to offer guidance and advice, as well as a light breakfast in the mornings.Lunch and dinner is made available on prior request.

A small village that is Annanad will remain small unless someone like you thinks big. Welcome to this riverside village which would make you come back again, so that you could rejuvenate yourself with fresh drinking water and unpolluted fresh air. This place which comes under Kadukutty panchayat is famous for its natural beauty and bio-diversity.
In this serene agro-village, you can see green coconut trees, paddy fields and mango trees.
This agro village gets abundant water from Chalakudy river which flows through the center. A boat journey through the puzha will be an unforgettable experience. Further to experience the village, the simple villagers can offer their help in ride in a country boat. You can look around various small villages, interact with local people and live the rural life.
Ploughing the land, sowing rice, milking goats, wood cutting, drawing water from the well, climbing trees and learning about various medicinal plants in the village.
Moreover for adventure lovers, there are some trekking spots nearby that you can enjoy, along with living the rural life.
A typical day would include a traditional welcome drink, treat of an organic vegetarian lunch with the villagers at their homes prepared by local women. . A sumptuous meal of boiled rice and traditional delights served on a plantain leaf
A walk around the village and participation in village lifestyle activities, ,plucking and enjoying unlimited mangoes, swimming in the river,.
You can explore the village on a bicycle, Cycling across the paddy fields.
In the coconut groove you can taste some sweet coconut water and tender coconut.–brewed liquor jugged into small earthen pots and bottles. You get to taste the Kerala beverage toddy fresh out of the pot.
A nearby plantain orchard managed by the local self help groups of women is known for diverse varieties of plantains cultivated

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
