A house in a small village 10 minutes from the airport
Living in a typical Indonesian neighborhood. Get the real local feeling and enjoy a comfortable king size bed in a spacious air-conditioned bedroom with ensuite mandi/toilet bathroom.
If you want to experience real Sumatran life and stay close to the airport, then this is the place for you.

About the Area
Our village has about 80,000 inhabitants, so by Indonesian standards it is still rural. The house is in a kind of settlement, quiet and away from the main roads.
Bima Utomo Water Park, Pantai Cermin Beach and Dua Warna Waterfall are the highlights in and around Batang Kuis.
The tourist highlights of North Sumatra are easily accessible:
Mountain Resort Brastagi (beautiful cool area, two active volcanoes, two amusement parks, the most unique strawberry growing area) is about 2 hours drive.
The jungle village of Bukit Lawang (orangutan reservoir) and Gunung Leuser National Park are about 2 ½ hours away, Lake Toba (largest volcanic sea in the world) about 3 hours.
The capital Medan is about 20 km away and can be reached by public transport (Angkota). The journey to the city center takes every 5 minutes and costs around 30 cents.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
