Our experience with this Homestay was not good. First of all, the information on Homestay website was incorrect, including the address. We had to call 3 times for the correct address, which was some streets away from the address we were given. After arriving, we were given the wrong room, later we were charged for breakfast, which should be included according to the information online. When we were leaving, we were told that they even served 3 types of breakfast with different prices, but in the morning we weren't asked about what breakfast we wanted. The information given at the reception is lacking, we got better information about restaurants and transportation etc from fellow guests. The room was infested with bugs and the toilet/shower has no ventilation so it becomes a sauna during use. A lot of attention has been paid to the garden, but cobblestones and gravel make it very difficult to navigate with suitcases. Wifi is only available in the reception area. Communication was also difficult because of poor English of the staff and at checkout, nobody knew how much we should pay. We had to show them the Homestay website for information. All in all, the price is too much for the service and the room. The hotel in the city center next to the shrine costs around €27 with much better rooms and breakfast included. Unfortunately, we found this out later.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
