Hey we are an easygoing family. We live in a quiet neighbourhood beside Artane castle shopping center in Dublin 5. You would be staying in a single room with access to common areas of the house. We have young children so you would be expected to be respectful of that fact. Please confirm bookings within 24 hours as we have a lot of requests. Smoking only outdoors.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north side of the city in a quiet area. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the house and the buses are very frequent to the city center. We are perfectly located for any amenities you might want.

House Rules
Must be respectful of our family. No heavy drinking or drug use of any kind. Must clean up after yourself and leave the place clean and tidy. No people with a history of mental illness or a criminal record.
Checkout by 12pm. This is flexible but please arrange it with us.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

The bedroom is as it is described on the site. Christine is a nice person, she helps you if you have a technical problem or if you want something. But it is to far from the centre of Dublin, I have 45 minutes to go to the school in the centre ( at 8'oclock)

Thanks C hristine and Al. Good to stay with you. Room was prepared and clean and Christine was helpfull. I have nothing complain.
Only thing is that the statement from the website - 20 mins. to the city centre is not real true. Allow at least 40 mins especialy in the morning and afternoon!

A great stay at Christines. Had a cuppa on arrival and showed me my room and bathroom. I was there for work, perfect location and close to clontarf for a walk too. Bed was comfortable. Nice place and lovely family. Thank you

Christine and Al were lovely, friendly hosts. The house was in a great location - plenty of buses nearby, a Tesco Express and Spar about 5 mins walk, and Clontarf Road DART station about 15 mins walk. Only took about 15/20 mins by bus to get into the city which was really convenient too.

Lovely people and friendly. Helpful and good cooking as well. The room was ok, and the place of the property is very close to city centre.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
