This house is located just 5 minutes’ walk from Christ Church, in the south of Dublin. Great location to visit the city. Room was clean and warm.
Edel the host was extremely friendly and courteous. Upon arrival she warmly welcomed us and we really felt like at home.
What more can you ask.
Staying with Edel was a blast. Nice clean house with a phenomenal location. Definitely worth the price.
Edel was very hospitable. The location of the house is very good. Everything was clean and prepared for us. We had nice and spacey room and available breakfast.
The location is very good, it was probably about a 15 minute walk to the Temple Bar area, so it's close to various food and drink options. She provided good recommendations for food and drink upon arrival. I did do laundry at the laundromat down the street as she didn't have a dryer that I could use. The house was very clean, but did have a cigarette smell sometimes. She did make sure to smoke outside, but containing the smell is always hard. The room was small, so not great with large suitcases. The bed was comfortable and she provided plenty of towels and a hair dryer. The in-room bathroom was unusable, but the downstairs shower and bathroom was clean and usable.
On a personal note, I was doing some solo travel and appreciated the tips for the area. However, I was a bit turned off by the constant comments about how unsafe Dublin was for women and that I shouldn't drink while I was there. Just small comments here and there that felt unnecessary and took away from my experience and comfort level. While I know it came from a good place, it was a bit overwhelming and irritating coming from a stranger. I didn't have a bad experience once in the city, I felt very safe!
Stanza molto piccola.
Il bagno in camera inutilizzabile.
In one word: Marvelous!!! Edel is a very charming host an everything was just perfect. Everything was clean and tidy, the bed fits also persons above 6" / 1,90m, the walk downtown is just a couple of minutes an Edels advices of local pub were simple great.
We´re looking forward to our next trip to Dublin and we´re gonna stay at Edels House.
There you can truely feel like home! Thank you for this.
Edel was a great host, so nice
she takes care of us, the house was clean and confortable, with all you can need. The only drowback the bathroom in our room is very small.
The house is in a perfect location to visit the city, in a quiet area, very close to the St. Patrick's Cathedral and a 10 minute walk to the temple bar. The pubs suggested by Eden were vewry nice, with good food and nice live music.
Edel is a perfect host. almost a friend form the very first moment you talk to her.
the apartment is lovely, very clean and located just a few minutes walk from City centre. Prices are very good.
I'll definitely come back.
