Double room to rent in the heart of Dublin city centre in an historic location which dates back to Viking times. A 10 minute walk way from Temple Bar and Grafton Street with easy access to numerous attractions and points of interest the bedroom consists of a private toilet & handbasin for staying guests mini fridge hairdryer usb plug your luggage must leave with you after checkout as I have no storage space to hold . Places to visit breakfast Ginger cafe Francis st . Local bars food & drinks lucky bar Meath st .Johns bar Thomas st .Darky Kelly’s Christchurch for Irish traditional music & the food is reasonably priced & good quality as I tell all my guests Temple bar is over priced so if your on a budget these bars are worth a visit & I almost forgot for the young travellers ( Jackie’s bar ) on Francis st is only recently opened & plays all the hits it’s worth a visit

About the Area
My home is situated in the heart of the city in an historic location known as the Liberties. Dublin city centre is a short walk away as is Christ Church Cathedral, The Guinness Hop Store, Vicar Street and Teeling Whiskey Distillery. The area is renowned for its antique shops and bustling market life that is supported by great pubs and cafes.

Good location . Toilet upstairs very noisy and startled us in the middle of the night

Sorry if you sleep was disturb due to a minor issue which has never happened before coming on during the night i thought I gave you both very good tips on places to eat bus services the changing of the the bedding as you were to warm I’m so grateful to all the other hundreds reviews from all my other grateful guests

A lovely person in a lovely house.
Small room but with everything you need.
Edel has always been thoughtful, available and ready to help us in everything.
Quiet place, not noisy, 20 minutes walk from the center. Comfortable!

Edel nous a accueilli chaleureusement chez elle, nous sommes restés 4 jours, nous avons bien dormi après nos grosses journées.
Le quartier est calme, a l'écart des rues animées.
Lors de questionnement, Edel était toujours présente pour nous aider et nous conseiller sur les restaurants, magasins et activités.
Si nous revenons à Dublin, cela sera chez EdelEdel welcomed us warmly into her home, we stayed 4 days, we slept well after our long days.
The area is quiet, away from busy streets.
When we had questions, Edel was always there to help us and advise us on restaurants, shops and activities.

Edel is an amazing host. Very kind and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever. Brilliant location so close to town, I walked everywhere! Also a very quiet area. Super handy and I’ll be back :)

Edel is a great hostess. I felt at home from the first day. From the house you can walk to all the most important places in Dublin.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
