We are are family of two adults and 4 daughters ranging from the ages of 13 to 24. Our eldest daughter is living in Australia at the moment and two other girls are travelling for the summer while they can as they are on college break. Our youngest is at secondary school. I love to cook and we eat a lot of vegetarian food in general although it is only our 19 year old who is actually a vegetarian We enjoy meeting and talking with people. We have a home office and work both from the home and out of the home. We will do as much as we can to make our guests stay a very happy and pleasant one and help them in whatever way we can. There is also parking available outside our house.

About the Area

Our house is located on the north side of the city and only 15 mins drive from both the airport and the beach. We are 3km from Dublin city centre and there are bus stops 2 minutes walk away and a bus will arrive every 10 minutes. We live in a quite residential settled area close to a shopping centre, supermarkets, hairdresser, pharmacy and convenience store. There is also a restaurant/bar a minutes walk away. We are very close to DCU also.

House Rules

As none of our family smoke, we do not want our guests to smoke in our home. We do have a very friendly dog (Toby) so guests should not stay with us if any allergy to animals. Other than that there are no rules, we will treat our guests with respect and courtesy and help out as much as we can.

Smoking is not allowed.

    I had a lovely stay with this family. They are very nice and hospitable. The room is much bigger then the picture shows and I got my own bathroom. The dog is really sweet too. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay with this family.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
