About the Homestay
Hi, I'm Geraldine from Dublin and have lived here all my life. I love the idea of meeting new people, every one has their own story to tell. I live with my partner and our 2 teenage children and 3 grown up dogs. Our house is a detached Victorian jewel that has been the expression of my artistic flair since we moved in over 10 years ago. It is a real home and if the walls could talk, they'd have many a story to tell. Our neighbourhood is so safe and has access to so many interesting things to do in Dublin. We are a 2 minute stroll from a metro stop which takes you into the bustling centre in 20 minutes. I am open to sharing my home to like minded warriors who are also in search of true experiences that will one day become part of a catalogue of cherished memories.
Located in Churchtown, on a quiet road and just a 10 minute stroll to our local amenities which include an array of pubs and great shopping. There are 5 bedrooms in total, 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room and a large kitchen. We have two spare bicycles, which our guests are welcome to borrow during the stay
- Bikes for use
- Carbon monoxide detector

Really cosy house and a lovely family, thanks for explaining so much and even showing us the way to the hospital for our internship! We would recommend staying here - Thanks for having us!
This guest awarded the host 4 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
Me and my fiance stayed at Geraldine's house for 38 days and I can only praise, a very friendly and pleasant family, they helped us a lot and we are very grateful for it. Great location as it is close to Luas Point and the neighborhood is beautiful! I recommend!
Friendly family. Lovely dogs. Perfect place to visit Dublin.
My friend and I decided to go to Ireland for our 1- month internship and did not know where to go first.
Other platforms such as Air Bnb would not convince us and a hotel seemed too expensive.
At the end we discovered this page and were so lucky to catch a room in this house which looked amazing on the pictures.
Geraldine was really easy to communicate with, even when we arrived she would pick us up from the bus station and showed us a bit around for a supermarket, some bars and places to go.
The house itself is located in a well-circumstanced, safe and rather quiet area in Dublin with the Luas (which is like the tram there) only being 200m away from the house.
Also within 7 stops you are in the city.
The family has 3 dogs and a cat, that are all very lovely.
Our room was just perfect, we enjoyed the 4 weeks so much we did not want to leave it at all.
Really comfortable, light-flooded and spacious.
Moreover we had our own bathroom, with a pretty cool bath tub.
When we come back to Dublin, we will definitely go back to Geradline since this was a great experience.
Thanks for everything and especially for the awesome Sushi John
Jule and Luisa
