I live in a 3 bedroom house in Cookstown area of Tallaght , west Dublin. A quiet estate right beside tallaght hospital.the red Luas line is across the road and the local swimming pool is 5minutes away. The square shopping centre is right on our doorstep with cinema .shops and plenty of restaurants. There is a theater and library also.
We love the cinema , eating out and in summer a walk up Dublin mountains or a trip to the coast.

House is located in a quiet estate in springfield ,Cookstown area of tallaght. We live minutes walk to the square shopping centre,restaurants and the arcade.
We also live across the road from the red luas line stop and bus stops to the city centre are minutes walk.

Respect the house , clean up after yourself , the use of washing machine and Iron is provided Shower before 10pm or after 6am.Towels provided on request.Please keep phone conversation,TV and music as quiet as possible after 10pm as to respect others sleeping.

At the beginning I had my doubts (actually like everyone before booking something). That's why I didn't book for longer than I originally wanted and that was my mistake. The accommodation by Pat was comfortable and convenient. By Pat I had really the home feeling. She is a very kind person and is willing to help you or give you advice. I enjoyed the month and would do it again when I am back in Ireland!

Patricia was such an accommodating host. I felt that my stay there was a home away from home. The room was comfortable and spacious with all the amenities available. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I will miss the interactions with her lovely family.

My stay with Pat and her family was one of the highlights of this past year. The house was spotless, and the bedroom was very cosy and a private space to relax.
Pat was willing to sit down for tea and a chat, but was also more than willing to let me go about my day. I felt cared for and welcome but not smothered at all.
I stayed with Pat during my placement in Tallaght hospital and the walk from the house to the hospital was about 15 minutes at a stroll. She was always happy to answer any questions about amenities in the area and gave me directions when I asked.
Overall, I could not recommend her highly enough. I was sad when my stay ended, but she is right in saying that her house is definitely ‘A Home from Home’.

Although my stay was cut short due to COVID-19, my experience in Patricia's house was nothing short of brilliant. Patricia has an immaculate home, was a fantastic host and all of her family were very nice and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for more in a host, and I would not hesitate to stay again. Five stars.

Bonjour,
Ayant d'abord réservé pour une durée de 30 nuits, je suis finalement restée toute la durée de mon séjour chez Patricia (4 mois).
Travaillant en partie à Tallaght, la localisation de la maison fut parfaite. Toutefois, le cœur de Dublin m’était facilement accessible en 45 minutes avec le tramway Luas (La Red Line est directe). Les arrêts « Cookstown » (5 minutes à pied ) et « Tallaght Hospital » (10 minutes à pied) sont proches de la maison. Il y a également des arrêts de bus. L'Hôpital de Tallaght est également à proximité.
Le quartier possède toutes les commodités nécessaires et le centre commercial de Tallaght (The Square Tallaght) se trouve à 15 minutes à pied environ (magasins de vêtements, nourriture, la Poste, distributeurs de billets, restaurants/fastfood, cinéma, etc). Dans cette zone et alentours, se trouvent d’autres lieux pouvant intéresser ou non : la bibliothèque, CIVIC, salle de sport, Rua Red, Stadium…
Patricia a été aidante et m’a permis de me repérer dans ce nouvel environnement, dès mon arrivée.
Patricia fut une hôte pleine de gentillesse et de générosité. Elle fut attentive et bienveillante tout au long de mon séjour afin que celui-ci se déroule au mieux.
J’ai apprécié partager ces 4 mois de vie au sein de son foyer.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
