Dear guests,
We will walk in Catania and its rural urban areas, museums and theatres, away from the touristic paths, with the intention to experience and satisfy your curiosity observing the exotic of real Catanese life.
You may also combine your stay in Catania, with "Your Cozy Retreat" or "Halfway between Taormina and Noto", my two other apartments near the sea (Brucoli, Siracusa).
Your room - description
The room is almost 20 square meters, large enough for 3/4 friends of yours and it is located in a friendly shared apartment with me.
It is just two blocks (about 300 meter) from Catania Stazione Centrale, the metro, the bus terminal, the ferrovia circumetnea, the bus stops to Etna, the airport, the sea-side lidos and the ferry terminal to Malta and Naples.
It is on the top floor of a 6 store building with elevator and it comes with air-conditioning/fan and 42" flat LG TV (Italian channels). It has a large balcony overlooking the sea, the Volcano Etna and Catania old smithy area.
Moreover, a table for five people allow you to have breakfast, lunch or dinner outside.
No-one else but your travel mates will share the room with you.
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Giuseppe offers qualified language instruction in his native language Italian. One hour of instruction costs 10.00 EUR. The classes will be given by the host himself at the accommodation.

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
