Hi, my name is Stefania, I live in an off-grid house, immersed in the countryside and olive groves of Puglia, more recently in Salento. For my guests I offer a small house in the heart of the Salento countryside: Casetta Loto! Also off-grid, eco-sustainable, it is the ideal place to reconnect with nature.
The experience of a zero-impact, sustainable stay, away from the lights and noise of the city.
The services are shared, outdoors, with attention to water waste, using natural products.
The shower, at room temperature, is wrapped in reeds for a unique experience!
The toilet is a dry eco-toilet.
A small kitchen is available.

- Space:
Casetta Loto is the ideal place to put into practice sustainable habits, such as paying attention to the use of water, using natural body products, self-produced detergents, which you will have at your disposal during your stay.
Learn to live with the sun's timing for the use of electricity, keeping in mind that at night, you will be limited to lights and charging your phone only via USB socket.
DON'T FORGET THE CHARGING CABLE OF YOUR SMARTPHONE.
The bed is queen size (120X190cm).

Electricity is provided in the house from 8.00 to 20.00.
Lights, a fan and a minibar.
From dusk to dawn only 12 volt electricity will be available, from a solar battery, for the sole use of the lights, the battery charger of your smartphone or other small devices via USB cable.
To keep your stay company, there will be two sweet cats.

About the Area
Our house is located among the countryside and olive trees of Salento. Away from the noise and light pollution typical of cities.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Smoking is not allowed, pets are not allowed, there are no open flames or barbeques, parties cannot be held, detergents cannot be used or except those supplied by us. A strong immersion in the context in which you find yourself is required, therefore maximum respect for nature, for what surrounds us, a reduction in waste and the use of plastic for example, is appreciated.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
