She was kind, concerning and generous too. In spite of her rush about her personel issues( her doughter is in hospital, she is working too) she could make plans with me like eating out or shopping together too ... I had a great time experience with a Japeneese family.

This was my second time returning to Midori-san's house. And I will definitely be back again. I feel comfortable to be around Midori-san & her family, and I can just be myself. It's a warm house filled with warm people. Fukui is a quiet place i start to fall in love with. The countryside sceneries, and most importantly the people are what making me coming back.

My first homestay experience at this quaint, older home in Fukui was a positive one. Despite its remote location, the house was clean and comfortable.
Meals with Midori's family were a delight, offering a variety of tasty dishes. The use of the kitchen, shower, and washing machine were convenient. The hospitality of Midori and her family was exceptional, especially during an unexpected earthquake, showcasing their kindness and care.
The peaceful environment of Fukui was perfect for me, avoiding the overstimulation of larger cities. Activities with other guests, like cooking and visiting local attractions, were enjoyable and memorable.
I recommend this homestay for those seeking warm hospitality of the hosts, lively children, and a serene location. I look forward to visiting again!

Midori-san and her family made me feel at home instantly. I love the fact that they are very real people, and no pretense. It made me feel very comfortable to just be myself and enjoyed their company. I will definitely visit them again and again.

Sehr gut geeignet, wenn man mal ziemlich abgelegen in das Leben einer lebendigen und sehr netten Familie eintauchen will!

Midori and her family are very friendly, honest and unpretentious people. I'm very happy we were able to stay at her house, I feel it was truly a genuine experience of Japan, off the beaten track. Thank you for the delicious meals, the interesting chats, and for taking us to Tsuruga and the Coffee Festival!

I was accommodated in the house for 4 weeks and I can say that Midori and her family are very welcoming and friendly people, they always helped when problems occurred. I really liked the dinner's together and talking about the activities in and around Fukui, there is a lot to explore. Midori and her husband took me to a lot of trips around fukui and show me much places on the weekends. The house is very big and tatami room defennetly worth to try it out. I would like to come back in the future to visit them again.

It was a very pleasant, interesting and delicious stay. Due to Midori San, I had the chance to live experiences I would have never lived in a non homestay sejour.
