I had a really wonderful time at Keiko's house.
Usually, for my personality, I find it difficult to be comfortable in a house of other people, but this time was different. It quickly became my second home.
It is very comfortable also in terms of facilities nearby! There are 2 close stations: Tamagawa and Numabe. There are a lot of restaurants and a very close sushi chain. There is a wonderful shrine near tamagawa station where you can admire the view on Maruko bridge and Kanagawa Prefecture. A paradise for the eyes. I really miss that view..
Keiko san and her daughter are extremely beautiful people, kind, sensitive and ready to help you in everything! They also have a super kawaii cat, she's very a curious observer.
I had 2 other girls in the house during my stay and we quickly became a big family, sharing experiences, trips and beautiful festivals together.
So, if you would like to stay in a beautiful house with beautiful people don't be afraid and come to Keiko's house. She will welcome you with open arms <3
Oh it was so hard to leave.. so happy to have chose them! Thanks again for everything またね <3
Keiko-San is a great host. Very warm and lovely. The cat is super cute and I think you will feel very welcomed in this house. It was beautiful. If you want to stay with a kind family in a quiet but beautiful neighbourhood go there! Also Tama River is wonderful especially for midnight walks. Thank you Keiko-San I really enjoyed my time with you and your family!
I stayed with Keiko-san and her family for roughly 5 months and had an absolutely wonderful time! They were kind enough to take me in on very short notice too, which saved my whole stay in Japan.
My Japanese also improved quite a bit, since there was always someone there to talk to and communicating was very easy, because everyone was very friendly and patient. :)
Whenever I had a problem or concerns I could come and talk about it and would receive help!
I really enjoyed my stay here and would defintiely recommend it!!
Ms. Keiko and her family were incredibly warm and kind! They also never hesitated to help me with anything. Her daughter, Miyuki, took me to many places during my stay! I stayed there for 7 months and had a great time.
The neighborhood was quiet, and the room I stayed in was spacious. I highly recommend staying at Ms. Keiko’s place!
I had a really enjoyble stay with Keiko-san. My stay was of 6 months.
I could talk in japanese everyday and that improved a lot my talking skills.
Keiko-san is really a nice person, who helps you every time there's a problem. She can also speak English quite well.
There are only few rules like not eating in the room, nothing demanding, just few normal things. You can have your own keys and free to get outside and come back home anytime.
Sometimes there is the "board game day" with the husband. It's a really funny. Board game lovers are welcomed to join.
The room is spacious, on the 3rd floor, sunny and really silent, I could easly focus on my studies.
The shower is in common with the other housemates, but that was not a problem at all.
The other girls living in the house are also really nice.
A rich breakfast is also included.
10 minutes from the Tamagawa station, you can reach Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku in 20 minutes by train.
There's also another station, Numabe, 45 minutes for the central Tokyo station. It's not so faraway thinking about how much big is Tokyo.
The trains are still late in the night (last trains were about at 00:00-00:30 a.m.)
The neighborhood is really quite and nice. There is a convenience store at 2 minutes, a supermarket about 7 minutes, a beautiful park near Tamagawa station.
I can't but recommend a stay in Keiko-san home. I hope I will come back another time.
I had a great time with Fukuda-san and her family! They are all very kind and open-minded, so it was a relaxed atmosphere and I felt integrated into the household. There was always someone to talk to, but I could also get my privacy having a separate kitchen and bathroom.
I was super happy staying with Fukuda-family in Japan and would love to come back one day!
I really enjoyed my stay here :D
When you want privacy, you can stay in your room and no one will bother you but I also frequently went to the living room area and there was generally always someone to talk to/hang out with. We also played board games together and so on which was really fun :D
It is a very casual situation and everyone is really easy to get along with. The house itself is also quite nice.
Fukuda-san is very warm and lovely host. I really enjoyed the stay in her home and with her family. She really supported me in getting along with japanese culture and habits. I could ask her any questions and she always had an open ear. The house was clean and the room very comfortable. We had a lot of fun toghether espacially with her daughter and friends. I really recommend to stay in her house! Thank you for the great experience, I will definitely come back on day!
