I live in a quiet tranquil village in Wasini Island south coast Mombasa Home Stay Kenya at Mkwiro village near Kisite Island marine national park with my wife and children.
Our family lives in a 5 bedroom house in Mkwiro village Wasini Dolphin Tour Island.
Our home is 15 minutes boat ride to Shimoni village main land thats the shopping centre and 45 minutes away boat ride to famous upper and lower Mpunguti marine reserves and the Kisite Island national park with good view of Tanzania.It is a famous area for the Dolphin Tours in Kenya coast from Mombasa and Diani Beach.
We have a spacious kitchen and dining area. Our village is rocky so not good for bike ride but we have a canoe to enjoy rides at high tides and may be go fishing or local reef snorkeling with.
Our are is safe, quiet and no bad incidents ever occurring as we are on an island.

It is possible to go for island walk to see the man groove forest.. Go for a full day Wasini Island Dolphin Tour.Kisite marine park snorkeling and can also arrange for a game drive from here.

About the Area
We are 90 kms from Mombasa city further south coast to Shimoni Village where you take a boat across to Mkwiro village in Wasini Island.
The bus end at Shimoni Village then take a boat across taking 15 minutes to our village. while at the village we are in the west side near the public village water tanks.
We are just close to the beach.

We do not allow pork or beers in our house.
Keep noise at a minimum at midnight please.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
