Our home is located in the suburbs of Nairobi City. I am married with 2 grown daughters. The house is a 6 bedroom house fully furnished with electricity, water and free internet and wifi. Since we are tour operators we love travel and social activities. We speak mostly English and Swahili.
We do offer airport transfers and transportation in general upon request at an extra cost and we also arrange safaris to various tourist sites and attractions such as Masai Mara ,Amboseli, Nakuru, Tsavo West & East. We can arrange both lodge and camping safaris for those who would love to explore our beautiful country.

PAYMENT POLICY:
Guests MUST pay 50% of the total cost by bank transfer or online by credit card via PESA PAL (but add 3.5% surcharge ); see link www.aardwolfafricasafaris.com upon confirmation of booking. The balance can be paid upon arrival.
Cancellation fees:
This will depend on when we receive the cancellation notice (in writing); earlier than 30 days to arrival 25%, between 29 and 15 days prior to arrival 50%, between 14 and 7 days prior to arrival 75%, less than 6 days prior to arrival (and no-show-up) – 100%.

About the Area
Our House is located in a quiet suburb on Nyahururu Road 4th North Kahawa Sukari Estate, 20kms and 15 minutes drive to Nairobi city center. 5 minutes walk to the public bus stop to Thika Road where buses and taxis are plenty. Also very close to Thika Road Mall and Garden City Mall by public transport and taxis. Kenyatta University the second largest University in Kenya is in the neighborhood. There is good security and the community is very friendly.

House Rules
1. Be respectful to our family and friends.
2. Visitors are not allowed during Mondays to Fridays. You may entertain visitor during Saturdays and Sundays but only at the Living Room. Visitors are not allowed in the Bedroom. All visitors must have a prior permission from the host.
3. All Homestay Accommodation Fees must be paid in full before check-in. Homestay Accommodation Fees paid are not refundable.
4. The homestay house is a Non-Smoking home hence ‘No Smoking’ is required inside the house and in the room.
5. Intoxicating liquors or alcoholic beverages and cigarettes/illegal drugs are not allowed to be carried or possessed by the guest inside the house or bedroom.
6. Weapons such as guns, ranger’s/hunting knives or any deadly equipment are not allowed to be possessed or carried by the guest outside or inside the house or inside the bedroom.
7. Pornographic and subversive materials of any kind are not allowed to be brought inside the house or inside the bedroom.
8. Don’t mess your room. Keep your bed/bedroom and toilet/bathroom cleaned at all times. Put all your trash to the trash can. Any damages caused by the guest will be charged to his/her account.
9. Since you are living together with other occupants/persons in one room, the guest is required to be free from bad body or underarm odor by putting up body or underarm deodorant or deodorizer. Toiletries such as soap, shampoo and toothpaste are at the expense of the guest; if there is any given – it is out of the generous heart of your host. Since this is a shared accommodation, always respect the rights of other guests.
10. For your safety, always advise your host whenever you get in and out from the house to visit the city, to the malls, movies, beach resorts or other places. Leave your cell phone number with the host in case of any difficulties
11. Going outside (malls, movies, beach resorts, city tour, island hopping, etc.) is at your own risk, the host is not responsible for you safety outside the house. You may invite anybody from any member of the host family to accompany you outside but at your expense for the transportation or meals or entrance fees that might be incurred outside the house.
12. For guests who are minors (below 18 years old), the host acts as your guardian if agreed with parents; rules of conduct while at the boarding/guest house should be followed.
13. Do not leave your valuables (money, jewelries, etc.) unattended inside the bedroom.
14. When not using the bedroom, always put off the lights.
15. The host provides breakfast only but guests are free to use the kitchen. However the guest must ensure that the dishes/utensils are clean after use.
16. The guest is responsible for his/her own health.
The host should be notified if the guest has any health issues. However all medical/ hospitalization bills and medicines if he/she got sick are for the personal expenses of the guest. It is advised that the guest should cover himself/herself with adequate health insurance to cover for whatever sickness or disease and hospitalization that may occur during his/her stay.
17. Internet access is free through the host Wi-Fi (wireless connection) but for a limited time only for access of e-mails or research. Please allow others to use the internet also. Pornographic sites are not allowed to be accessed in the internet through the host computers or through the guest’s laptop computer.

Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
